Woman Accused of Killing Two Boyfriends and Son, Burying Them in Backyard
A woman identified as Ncumisa Selani is alleged to have killed two of her boyfriends and her 17-year-old son over a period of three years and buried them in a single grave at the backyard of her home.
According to reports, the incidents are said to have taken place between 2016 and 2018.
It is alleged that in 2016, Selani discovered that she was HIV positive and blamed her Malawian boyfriend for infecting her. She reportedly convinced her Zimbabwean boyfriend to assist her in killing the Malawian man. The victim was allegedly murdered and buried in the backyard of her residence.
In 2017, Selani is said to have turned against her Zimbabwean boyfriend, reportedly claiming that he had become abusive. She allegedly persuaded her 17-year-old son to help her carry out the killing. The man was reportedly murdered and buried in the same grave, on top of the first victim.
The following year, in 2018, Selani is alleged to have killed her own son. Reports suggest that the teenager had begun using drugs and was threatening to expose the previous killings if she did not give him money. He was reportedly buried in the same grave as the two men.
Authorities later uncovered the remains, leading to the woman’s arrest. Investigations into the case revealed the shocking sequence of events that spanned three years.
Police have not yet released further details regarding court proceedings.
